Double Donut Bourbon Burger

Double Donut Bourbon Burger

One of the messiest burgers you'll ever eat, not quite first date material but it will definitely make you fall in love.

You'll need: 2 glazed donuts, beef mince, bacon, smoked cheese, egg, baby gem lettuce, JIM BEAM® Bourbon Sauce.
Method: Mix the beef mince with salt & cracked black pepper, before forming into quarter pounders. Cover with cling film and refrigerate for 10 to 15 minutes. Take a patty, add smoked cheese to the middle, top with a second patty and press the edges firmly to seal the burgers together. Grill the burger patties for 5/6 minutes on each side for medium rare with an oozy cheese centre. Meanwhile griddle the donuts on both sides along with your bacon, and add your egg to a pan to poach. To assemble top a donut with lettuce, your cheese burger, crispy bacon, a thick slice of smoked cheese, a good layer of bourbon sauce, add you second donut burger for the lid and let your egg nest in the donut hole.
